I sit here at Barnes & Noble again. Waiting for the updates to download. Waiting for the dvd rom drive to show up again. Waiting for the weekend. Waiting for the next crisis. Waiting for the next break.

I was at Barnes & Noble a couple months ago, waiting in the cafe line, while a middle-aged lady made it her mission to order the healthiest Starbucks beverage they had to offer. The overly accommodating guy behind the register milled through the official cafe item list, offering calorie counts, fat percentages, sugar amounts, etc... until, about 15 minutes later, he arrived at the perfect drink. When asked if there was anything else she would care for on that day, she quickly responded, "Oh, yeah. And two rice krispy treats."
